3PE Heat Shrink Cuff for Girth Weld Anticorrosion of Steel Pipeline
Heat shrinkable tape has a two-layer structure (polyethylene backing and hot-melt adhesive). When the tape is being heat, the backing of the tape shrinks, the adhesive layer softens and fills in all the irregularities to constitute a uniform coating and provide with excellent peel and dielectric strength of the coating.

- Easy to operate and preheating temperature low (50 ºC)
- Open sleeve configuration allows the product to be applied after the pipeline has been welded and cleaned.
The tape is delivered in 30, 40 or 50 running meter rolls, and the thickness is usually in 1.2mm-2.5mm.
The TSD-60 system provides superior corrosion protection and excellent bonding on pipelines operating up to 65°C. TSD-60 has been designed with a flexible radiation cross-linked polyethylene black backing with a unique hot melt adhesive. TSD-60 is stretchable, hand-wrapped, heat-shrinkable sleeves specifically designed for the protection of the rooftop piping and duct work. Also, it can be used for large diameter water pipes.

Flexible Installation
• TSD-60 can be used as either a 2-layer or 3-layer sleeve system with primer or without epoxy primer.
• For added flexibility, the sleeve can be supplied as bulk rolls or pre-cut to the required pipe size
Long Term Corrosion Protection
• Provides a protective coating with the structural integrity of a seamless tube, providing excellent resistance to cathodic disbondment and excellent durability against abrasion and chemical attack.
